Logistical details
- The cruise runs for 1.5 hours and departs from Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina
- The Lady Douglas departs from Berth C16 at the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, Port Douglas.
- You’ll find us along the main boardwalk directly in front of Lure Restaurant. Simply follow the boardwalk towards the boats, and look for our signature large red umbrella. Boarding for all cruises is 15 mins prior to departure.
Wildlife & Scenery
Crocodiles are normally seen on over 90% of trips, especially in the dry season (May-Nov). Regular wildlife sightings also include; sea eagles, kites, ospreys, kingfishers, herons, waders, crabs, mud skippers, spiders and the occasion turtle.
Each river cruise passes through the scenic Port Douglas waterfront and harbour out into the mouth of the inlet showcasing stunning coastal views of the rainforest clad mountains and local islands. This is the perfect location to enjoy the sunsets on our sunset cruise.

Port Douglas is a perfect place for a romantic wedding – especially at St Mary’s by the Sea or under the palms by the waterfront in Ana Park. Both are adjacent to the historic sugar wharf and right next to the public wharf.
Lady Douglas can collect passengers from the public wharf, providing an enjoyable river cruise with beverages and nibbles, then transfer guests to reception venues such as the sugar wharf or waterfront or marina restaurants. Drinks can be provided and catering or live music can be arranged if necessary.
In addition, Lady Douglas proves to be an exceptional and original venue for ceremonies or receptions.

Lady Douglas is fully licensed and can cater for both day and night-time events. A music system is on board or live music can be arranged.
